Dragon Surface

This piece is based on a radial spatial development of a dragon curve through the six iterations. The surface was designed to maintain negative curvature everywhere, a hallmark of hyperbolic surfaces embedded in Euclidean three-dimensional space. The sculpture, made in 2017, measures 22 inches in the long direction.
