Meander
This sculpture, created in 2016, is based loosely on iterations of a fractal curve. The base curve is sinusoidal, but with larger amplitude and period near the center. An attempt was made to maintain negative curvature throughout while building, making the surface more-or-less hyperbolic. The sculpture, which possesses two-fold rotational symmetry about a vertical axis, measures 29" in length by 6" in width by 8" in height.
