Music of the Spheres
"Music of the Spheres" is a bronze cast from a wood master (shown here) completed in 1999. The sculpture is a ribbon deployed in an asymmetrically enriched trefoil pattern. The underlying geometry of the ribbon's global circuit consists of three smaller spheres ensconced within a larger sphere. As with many of Brent's sculptures, the piece looks very different when viewed at different angles. Diameter, 30".
