Istvan Orosz


Istvan Orosz was born in 1951 in Kecskemet, Hungary. He was trained as a graphic designer at the University of Arts and Design and as an animated film maker at Pannonia Film Studios, both in Budapest. He has won numerous awards for his art and his work has been exhibited widely in galleries and exhibitions. Anamorphic art and impossible figures are two of his favorite subjects. His main technique for printmaking is metal engraving, a time-honored and painstaking technique. In addition to printmaking, his interests include poster design, stage-set design, and film making.
