"Piranesi" is a limited edition print pulled from a metal engraving in 1994. The work is a play on perspective drawing and perception. If one looks at the upper portion of the print, it appears to show an inner (concave) corner of a building. However, if one looks at the lower portion of the print, it appears to show an outer (convex) corner of a building. If one looks at the overall print, the mind jumps between the two interpretations depending on where the eye is resting.
