Polyominoes & Polyhexes

A polyomino is a shape made up of squares. A shape made up of four squares is called a tetomino. There are five different ones; these are the shapes in the famous computer game Tetris. A shape made up of five squares is called a pentomino. There are twelve different pentominoes. There are innumerable brain teasers involving polyominoes, which challenge one's spatial reasoning in a quantitative fashion. A polyhex is the same idea, but using regular hexagons instead of squares.
