dLX
Alphabet & Playing card dice
dLX, pronounced d-Lex as in lexicon, are 60-sided alphabet dice with letters weighted by their frequency of usage in English. For example, there are a lot more T's and N's than Z's. This makes them work better for forming words than alphabet dice with one letter of each type. LX is the Roman numeral for 60 and fitting for these dice, which are marked with letters rather than numbers. They're based on a different polyhedron than our numbered d60, namely the pentakis dodecahedron, and are the first injection-molded dice made from this shape. The dice are available in red, blue, green, white, and black. All of our offerings are available online at The Dice Shop at Mathartfun.com .
Roll a card, any card, with this novel pair of dice! The large 13-sided die chooses the value and the four-sided die the suit. Together they randomly select a card from a standard 52-card deck. Use them instead of cards or along with cards. Invent new games or variations on classics. Give them a shake and give your luck a roll! The dice are available in red, blue, green, white, and black. All of our offerings are available online at The Dice Shop at Mathartfun.com. Click here to learn more about the design.
